As a life coach with a particular interest in mental health and wellbeing, I plan Retreats that I hope that it will inspire you, nurture you, gently challenge and support you in thinking about how you might make some small changes in your life to improve both your physical and mental health and therefore your overall wellbeing. Or it might just be that you need to take some time out and experience some ‘me’ time.
We always choose locations which are perfect for getting active outside, be that forest walks, coastal walks or beach walks.
Sharing food round a table together is a really integral part of our Retreats. All meals are homemade, mostly plant-based food and are free from all preservatives, additives, and refined sugar – trust me, they are good. This might be your opportunity to consider how to reduce your consumption of meat if that is something you are interested in as well as refined sugar. We are always happy to share recipes and ideas on are style of cooking. We have a particular focus on the emerging research that suggests we should be aiming for 30 different plant-based foods weekly to support both our immune system and our mental health.
There are group coaching sessions throughout our Retreats. It will be entirely up to you whether you attend any, or all of these, and how much you share of yourself. You can be assured of my confidentiality, and I will ask at the outset of the Retreat for confidentiality from the rest of group too.

Day & Overnight Retreats
Hart & Soul Retreats are an opportunity to take some time just for you, time to stretch and challenge yourself, if you would like to, but also to relax and unwind. All our activities are optional and there are always alternatives for those guests who might prefer to curl up in a cosy corner with a rug, a book, a candle and some music and read, relax or just be.
Many of our Retreats take place in the beautiful surroundings of CherryHill Lodge, a short drive from Newcastle, Co. Down.

Starting in Santiago de Compostela we will walk through ancient forests and along coastal paths to 'The End of the Earth' in Finisterre and onto Muxia, staying in simple hotels and albergues. each night we will join other pilgrims to have our 'Pilgrim's meal'.
This promises to be a stunningly beautiful, challenging and restorative Retreat.

THURSDAY 21ST TO SUNDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER 2023
To celebrate the Autumn Equinox Lucille and I will be hosting a Retreat together at fabulous Sandhill House in Dunfanaghy, Donegal. This will truly be an opportunity to really get active and slow down in the best possible way. We'll be getting active on Errigal and Muckish Mountains and forest bathing in the beautiful Ards Forest, and then slowing down with yoga in the studio and making use of the outdoor hot tub.
All of this activity and slowing down will be further enhanced by wonderful plant based food cooked freshly for us by our in house chef for the Retreat, EllenMaeve.
